Join along on an epic day for flying, as we whisk the turbine powered Cessna Conquest over the Rocky Mountains on a short 20 minute hop over to Fairmont Hot Springs. Why? To take some great friends skiing! And of course, as the pilots, we get to partake in the fun as well! We take off from Calgary Springbank Airport CYBW and climb to a low cruising altitude of 14,000 feet, just enough to clear the tops of the mountains. Punching through some bumpy clouds at 265 knots, we enjoy a dazzling IFR descent into the Columbia River valley to land at Fairmont Hot Springs Airport CYCZ. There were plenty of amazing views, cloud surfing, and some good IFR flying to be had on this trip...

Watch to the end to see epic views from the cockpit, some hilarious skiing, and even a troubleshooting twist that almost left us stranded. Fortunately, we had some pilot-friends at the ready to help get us back in the air and home to Calgary. What an adventure!
