Being a pilot has allowed me the opportunity to exploit my love for fishing in ways that I never thought possible. This recent flying trip took us up to beautiful La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Canada for some world class northern pike fishing. We brought along our ultra light gear, fly rods, and of course... somehow we managed to squeeze a couple iROCKER paddleboards on the airplane for added fun! Cruising the shallow and hooking into one of these toothy critters on really light tackle or a fly rod is just too fun to express in words.
And if you think that fishing just can't get any more fun... then you haven't tried it from a paddleboard! Going head to head with one of these powerful fish while on a paddle board is just out of this world and a must try for anyone who wants to add a bit more challenge to their fishing game!
